Over the past five years, SolidSpace’s mission has been to develop a company that is driven by the latest trends in technology and to be deeply rooted in its local community. Upon seeing many great local non-profit organizations, community development projects and fundraisers struggle with financially maintaining or launching their website, SolidSpace began donating its hosting and network services. As SolidSpace grew, so has it involvement within the Piedmont Triad Area.
In 2006, SolidSpace formed the IT Outreach Program to better assist organizations in need of IT support. The program grants yearly, monthly and weekly services to organizations that are struggling to raise funds for IT services, such as hosting a website or a temporary hosted services during a fundraiser. By SolidSpace absorbing the various IT service costs, the organization can gain a wider audience reach due to the creation of a website or free much needed funds to support other areas of their program.
The IT Outreach Program is dedicated to donating services to programs that enrich the local community, showcase the career opportunities in IT, locally and internationally, and promote the education of young people on the importance of math, science and technology.
